BEDROOMS
3 bedrooms – 1 king size, 1 Zip and Link (super-king) & a twin room.
All bedrooms have space to hang clothes, white wooden coat hangers and shelving for your other items. All 3 bedrooms have bedside lamp/s, sockets and USB charging points.
Bedroom 1 has a hair dryer, bedside rugs, mirror and a vanity shelf.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 also have rugs.
Zip and Link room has a mirror and vanity shelf. The beds can be separated into 2 singles.
Please let us know when booking what your bedroom 2 requirements are, 2 singles or a Superking size.
The twin room is perfect for 2 children or adults to share, full size single beds, with a small bedside cabinet and lamp.
Snuggle down in our comfy beds, white linen and pretty, colourful throws and complimenting cushions, all with a nature inspired themes. Cosy duvets and soft pillows for a good night’s sleep that will leave you refreshed and ready to explore this amazing county. All duvets, cushions and pillows are hollow fibre and anti-allergy.
Bathroom
Each tent has its own bathroom.
Electric shower, with a glass shelf for your shampoos and body wash etc, wash basin, flushing toilet.
The basin only has cold water, but you can add hot water from the shower. There is a refillable Soap dispenser filled with Bayliss & Harding Jasmine and Apple blossom soap, covered wastebin.
Handmade driftwood mirror and vanity shelf, hooks for towels and robes and bathmats.
Kitchen Area
The kitchen will be fully equipped; industrial style stainless steel food preparation area, Liebherr fridge/freezer, Belfast sink with Quooker tap, cold, hot and boiling water instantly, Sharp microwave, freestanding Zanussi oven with induction hob and a toaster.
Shelving and cupboards for plates, mugs etc along with all the utensils you would find in your own kitchen, pots, pans, knives, trays, cafetiere, t-towels, scales etc. we are keen cooks and we have tried to include everything we expect to find when we are away.
(For your information our water comes from a borehole on our land and is regularly tested).
Dining Area
Your dining area has a table that seats 6 comfortably, lighting for the shorter evenings and those all-important board and card games!
The dining area can be moved to the covered, decked veranda on those warmer evenings and the front of the tent can be fully opened to give you a more open plan area. Please feel free to move the wooden table to suit your needs.
Seating Area
Ample seating area with a large square coffee table with storage in the centre. This contains additional blankets for the cooler evenings, hot water bottles, packs of cards, books and board games. There are also smaller tables and lighting in the seating area to create that homely feel.
There is a boot tray for your wellies/walking boots. Please bring your dog’s favourite bed, we want them to be happy.
Veranda Area
This is fully enclosed for the safety of our guests, their children and pets. The inside table maybe used on the deck area.
Fairy lights, lanterns & candles, enjoy the sunsets and watch the stars twinkle and if you are here in August maybe you will see the Perseid meteors. We sometimes see a badger or roe deer, occasionally a fox or two.
Your Private Grassed Area
To the secluded side of the tent and where it gets most of the evening sun you have a top of the range 6 berth hot tub for your exclusive use, for star gazing and enjoying a glass of wine and relaxing after a day of exploring. We have newly planted willow to create a natural screen around the hot tub, this is very young and will need time to mature.
Please bring your own beach towels for use around the hot tub.
(White towels are not to be used outside)
The area around your tent up to the planted border is yours to enjoy during your stay, giving you space for the kids to let off some steam and play outside games.
Outside on the grass there is a picnic bench for you to enjoy. You also have a gas barbeque and a firepit with seating to complete your stay.
(N.B. The BBQ must only be used on the grass and away from the tent)
Dogs must be kept on a lead outside the tent/veranda area and please clean up after your dogs and place in the general waste bins on site.
There will be a welcome box on arrival, local milk, bacon, eggs, marshmallows and other goodies.
On site there is free wi-fi for your phones and gadgets. The tents do not have televisions. Please bring your laptop/pad if you cannot survive without the latest soap episode of films for the kids! Please ensure your personal belongings are kept safe during your stay. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage during your stay.
