All bookings via our online system should be treated as provisional until you receive confirmation from us via email.
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of 30% (or full payment) of the cost of your stay is required.
Bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before your stay.
If the booking is less than 8 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required.
Payment can be made by debit or credit card online at the time of your booking.
Alternatively, you can pay by cheque or bank transfer.
Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit (or full payment), has been received.
If the balance is not paid by the due date Sunsets and Marshmallows reserves the right to re-let the tent and retain the deposit.
Sunsets and Marshmallows only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age.
Sunsets and Marshmallows reserves the right, at all times, without statement of reasons, to refuse or cancel a booking.
The prices featured on the website are not binding; Sunsets and Marshmallows reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation invoice is binding.
Your confirmation email will have 2 mobile phone numbers please text or call us to advise of your intended arrival time and update us en-route if needed. Your tent will not be ready until 4pm.
Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive no later than 6pm as we need time to show you how everything works.
When you arrive, please come into the parking area to the left or right inside the main gate. Please ensure you close the gate behind you. We will be there to greet you and can assist with your luggage if needed. We will show you around and show you how everything works.
Guests are requested to vacate their tent by 10am on the date of their departure, having washed up, tidied and returned all furniture & fittings to their original positions.
If you cancel before your balance is due, (8 weeks or more before your stay) then we will refund your deposit.
If you cancel within the 8 weeks before your stay we will endeavour to re-let your tent. If we fail to re-let we will retain your deposit but refund all other monies. An administration fee of £50 will be charged in this instance. We recommend that you have appropriate holiday insurance cover.
In the event that we need to cancel your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid to us, by you, within 14 days of notifying you.
Day visitors are welcome. This is at our discretion, please contact us in advance for permission.
We will need their contact details, in the case of an emergency, we need to know who is on site.
All visitors must leave the site by 11pm.
We are happy to welcome 2 dogs per tent.
Dogs must be kept under control and on leads at all times around the tents.
Dogs must not be left unsupervised in the tents or in the grounds.
Please clean up after your dog/s and place in the general waste bins on site.
We ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 11pm and before 7am. We ask that you are considerate to our other guests at all times of day but especially at night.
Smoking is only permitted on the grassed area away from the tents. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
Please do not leave any lit candles, lanterns or fires unattended.
Please ensure the above are extinguished before leaving the site or going to bed.
By booking and coming to Sunsets and Marshmallows you agree to be responsible for your children and/or dogs any children in your care and your own welfare and to take all reasonable precautions against personal injury, injury to others and damage to facilities and tents. Children and dogs must be supervised at all times.
Use of the facilities at Sunsets and Marshmallows is the responsibility of the guest and is done so at their own risk.
Sunsets and Marshmallows accepts no liability for theft, loss or damage to your property that may arise from your stay at Sunsets and Marshmallows.
